Welcome to GradePad! We are a privacy-first teacher app for grade, absence, and student management. Because our product is not launched yet, we currently only collect your email address if you voluntarily join our waitlist. We do not use trackers or cookies, we do not share your data with third parties, and we never sell it.

2. What we collect
We collect only one piece of data: your email address, when submitted via our waitlist signup form. We do not use cookies, tracking, or analytics on this website.
Your email address is securely stored in our self-hosted backend database (PocketBase) at api.gradepad.io.
3. Why we collect it
We use your email address exclusively for two purposes:
- To notify you once when GradePad officially launches.
- To send you occasional product updates / newsletters until launch.
The legal basis for this processing is your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We do not engage in profiling, share your data with third parties, or use it for any other marketing purposes.
4. How long we keep it
We keep your email address only until you unsubscribe from our updates or request the deletion of your data. Once you withdraw your consent, your email address will be immediately and permanently deleted from our database.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights at any time:
- Access: You can request confirmation of what data we process about you.
- Correction and Deletion: You can request that your data be corrected or deleted. Send a deletion request to support@gradepad.io.
- Data Portability: You have the right to receive your data in a structured, common format.
- Objection and Withdrawal: You can object to the processing and withdraw your consent at any time (e.g., via an unsubscribe link in the email).
